CHOP Speaks on Policy

The CHOP Government Affairs team supports the efforts of our clinicians, staff and leadership to educate public officials and influence public policy on issues impacting CHOP at the local, state and federal levels of government, in addition to facilitating testimony and comments on many important issues that affect children’s health.

We are actively involved in influencing government at both the legislative and regulatory levels in Harrisburg, Trenton and Washington, DC on many issues including the state and federal budgets, Medicaid, Children’s Hospital Graduate Medical Education (CHGME), drug shortages, the development of pediatric cardiac surgery quality measures and health information technology, among many other issues.
