At The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we measure key processes and continually improve the care and services we provide. The following are some of our Hospital-wide measures.
Goals: Improve patient, family and staff experience through partnership and innovation.
As part of our commitment to provide the Ideal Patient Experience, we regularly ask our patients and families for feedback on the care and service they have received. On an ongoing basis, a sample of inpatient and emergency department patients receive a patient satisfaction survey that allows them to rate our performance in a variety of areas ranging from ease of admission to noise level to how well we addressed their emotional needs. The feedback we receive is used to help us identify what we are doing well and what we could be doing better.
