Volunteers over the age of 18 who are not enrolled in college and who are able to make a significant time commitment may be a fit for the adult volunteer program. There are many different ways that our adult volunteers can compliment professional services in our patient care areas and provide support to our patients and families.
College student volunteers work at the Main Welcome Desk, Wood Welcome Desks, and Emergency Department, where they give a warm welcome to all patient families, evaluate limited visitation needs and guests with directions to get to where they're going.
We offer a limited number of spots each summer for volunteers between the ages of 16 and 18 who are enrolled in high school who want to give of their time while gaining valuable hands-on experience and educational opportunities within a medical setting.
