CBS Features the Fight Against Pediatric Cancer

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation renewed their commitment and support for The Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a transformational $2 million dollar grant which will be matched by CHOP for a total of $4 million of new funding. This level of funding will allow clinicians and scientists within the Center for Childhood Cancer Research to fast track their research into newer treatments for children with pediatric cancers. A press conference was held to celebrate the generous donation and Liz and Jay Scott, the parents of Alex, spoke about their foundation’s devotion to helping to identify a cure for every type of pediatric cancer.
