HealthDay examines the Research of Dr. Christopher Forrest

Yesterday, HealthDay News explored the research of Christopher B. Forrest, M.D., Ph.D., a pediatrician at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His research, published this month in Pediatrics, examined school-aged children, both with a special health care needs and those without them. His results showed that the children with health care concerns were at risk for educational delays including disruptive behavior, low motivation and poor academic improvement. This research draws attention to these children’s needs, and adds to the body of research, which will hopefully help develop positive interventions for these at-risk youths. Learn more about this research by reading the HealthDay article, or by reading the Pediatrics journal article.
