Karen Hudson Featured in an Interview About Homeless Children

Karen Hudson, program director of the Homeless Health Initiative at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, was featured in an article about the difficulties facing homeless children and the health complications that can arise. These at-risk youths face an increase rate of anxiety, sleep issues, developmental delays as well as possible emotional trauma. This segment of the population can be overlooked by some, but Hudson understands that awareness is one of the first steps to developing successful interventions. Read the article to learn more about the problems affecting homeless youth, and then learn more about CHOP’s Homeless Health Initiative.
