Rachel Leads Team Onco Girl at this Sunday’s Parkway Run Thanks to Cutting-Edge Surgery
Rachel Kovach, a 12 year old cancer patient, thought she would never be able to walk again. She was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare bone cancer which grew into a large tumor on her right thigh. Thanks to limb-sparing surgery by Dr. John Dormans, Rachel is able to walk again—on both legs.To celebrate, Rachel is leading Team Onco Girl in the Four Seasons Parkway Run and Walk this Sunday, September 25th to benefit childhood cancer research at CHOP.
