Reuters Health Article Examines the Health Risk Behind Summer Practices

Kelly Dougherty, Ph.D., was interviewed by Reuters Health on the health risk to children who participate in outdoor sport practices during the summer. Dougherty shared her concerns over these practices, and in particular the lack of a gradual return to these athletic activities. She also warned of the increase risk for children who are obese.
