SJ Magazine Examines Concussions in Young Athletes
Concussions may be a common injury especially for young
athletes, but that doesn’t mean they are not serious. SJ Magazine interviewed Arlene
Goodman, M.D. a pediatric sports medicine specialist at The Children’s Hospital
of Philadelphia, and she shared her expert insight about the risk of returning
to normal activities too soon. Goodman suggests a gradual return to normal
activity after a concussion, even if the concussion doesn't come with any other
symptoms. Learn more advice about concussions in children and teens by reading
the SJ Magazine Article.
