This program provides consistent weekend staffing in designated departments that have high weekend patient care demands, by providing a 67% differential to staff who choose to work 24 hours every weekend. This option will also reduce the weekend obligation for those staff members who prefer weekday schedules.
This program provides a variety of opportunities and encouragement for staff to participate in ongoing clinical education and development. Its purpose is to provide for learning opportunities beyond orientation and to promote a high standard of clinical practice and increased job enrichment through lifelong learning. The starting point is an individual development plan, including specific goals for the coming year, jointly designed by you and your manager.
A combination of skills-based pay and clinical ladder, this program is intended to compensate clinical staff for the mastery of new skills and the achievement of certifications as defined in each clinical department/unit. Staff who achieve defined competencies or certifications will be eligible to receive commensurate salary increases and/or bonuses.
In addition to our tuition reimbursement plan, we have designed a special program to recognize and support the development of deserving and exceptional staff. Twenty scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 in value are awarded annually to clinical staff members for the purpose of furthering their education.
We have partnered with Drexel University and Villanova University to offer selected nursing bachelor's, master's and certificate programs. Both online and classroom options are available. Some programs at each school are available at a discounted rate.
