New Employee Orientation

Rules of Conduct (HR Policy 5-2)

Rules and regulations are essential to the efficient operation of the Hospital.  We recognize that self-discipline and proper standards of conduct are necessary to protect the health and safety of all employees, temporary employees, contractors, and students as well as patients and the public, to maintain uninterrupted service, and to protect the Hospital’s good will as well as property.  As a general guiding principle, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia seeks to treat all employees, temporary employees, contractors, and students fairly in the application of disciplinary procedures.  The sincere desire of management is to help you in every way so that you may go forward to a successful future.  However, breaches of the established rules will be dealt with firmly under a uniform policy, which applies to all departments and individuals.
