Instructions for obtaining credits

The following information does not apply to pharmacists or pharmacy technicians.

To obtain CME credits, please click on the link above for the webinar in which you are interested. If you have never received credits from the University of Pittsburgh, you will need to create an account by clicking “Create Account” under the “Start Here” bar:

  1. Enter your email address and a password
  2. Complete your contact information
  3. Choose your degree
  4. Use “other” for affiliations
  5. Enter the last five digits of your social security number (SSN). This information will be on a secured part of the University of Pittsburgh site and is required in order to obtain credits. If you do not supply the last five digits of your SSN, you will not be able to obtain a credit transcript as described below, but you will obtain a certificate showing you completed the course.

If you already have an account, sign in using your email address and password.

Live Event Participants: If you attended the live event, you will only need to complete a course evaluation, within 24 hours of the live event, to obtain CME credits.

Archived Event Participants: If you watched the archived event, you will need to complete both a post-test and a course evaluation. You will need to score at least an 80 percent on the post-test to obtain credits.

Obtaining a credit transcript

Once you successfully complete the requirements for the CME credits, you will be able to print your certificate.

To obtain a credit transcript, click the link on the certificate (http://ccehs.upmc.edu) and choose “credit transcripts” from the left navigation. You will be asked for the last five digits of your social security number and your last name. You will have the option of printing your transcript or adding information about credits obtained from other institutions.
