  • Background

I have worked at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 2008 and joined the Sports Medicine team at the Main Campus location in December 2010.

In the clinical setting, I have worked with adults, children and adolescents undergoing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, pediatric in-patient and acute rehab and adult acute rehab (orthopedic, cardiology, oncology and general medical-surgery). During my time at CHOP, I have worked in the amplified pain program, healthy weight program, RND clinic and bone clinic. I have also volunteered in the Global Health program, Reach and Special Olympics.

In addition to my clinical work, I have lectured at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and at Arcadia University.

Recently I completed an Orthopedic Residency at Temple University and presented a poster at the Pennsylvania Chapter, south eastern district combined sections meeting.

My special interests are in manual therapy and injury prevention/reduction of overuse injuries in the pediatric athlete in low income areas.
