Background

Ken Knecht joined the Sports Medicine and Performance Center physical therapy team in 2005 and works at CHOP's Specialty Care Center at Virtua in Voorhees.

Ken has been treating athletes of all levels in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area for over 25 years.  He has a passion for the rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance enhancement of the pediatric & adolescent athletes. 

Ken is one of the Education and Development coordinators for the Physical Therapy Department and is responsible for CHOP’s PT clinical education program.  Ken presents at conferences and Universities locally, regionally, and nationally. His areas of Special interest include rehabilitation for the throwing athlete, Personalized Blood flow restriction therapy, and injury prevention.
