Anne Ades, MD, is the director of the Neonatology Medical Education at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is also director of the Neonatology Consult Service that provides neonatology expertise to neonates not located in the Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit. Many of the consult patients are neonates in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit who are premature or low birth weight. In addition, Dr. Ades is very involved in developing educational activities related to resuscitation skills and strategies. These activities include both “mock codes” with patient simulators and “code-debriefing” sessions.
Dr. Ades serves as attending neonatologist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a regional trainer for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She previously served as associate medical director of the neonatal/infant intensive care unit at Children's Hospital.
Dr. Ades received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA. She completed her pediatric residency and neonatal fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC.
