  • Background

    Dr. Kevin Dysart is a neonatologist and associate medical director of the Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

    He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Villanova University, Villanova, PA, and earned his medical degree from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Dysart completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he trained in pediatrics and neonatal/perinatal medicine.

    Dr. Dysart's interests include newborn lung disease in both term and preterm infants and therapies directed at improving outcomes. He also has an interest in the outcomes of newborns and the ability of diagnostic tests to predict the presence or absence of diseases, as well as the future of newborns affected by a variety of conditions.
