After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dr. Garber went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He then completed his pediatric residency training at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Following completion of residency, he served as a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at the Washington University School of Medicine prior to relocating to Philadelphia for his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine here at CHOP.
Since completing his fellowship, Dr. Garber has served primarily as an attending neonatologist in the Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) at Pennsylvania Hospital where he is the director of the ICN Apnea Program. In addition, he is involved in the post-discharge care of ICt\1 babies as a member of the Hospital's Developmental Follow-up Team.
With an interest in resident and student education, he serves as the liaison between Neonatology and the residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital.« Back to Previous Page
