Dr. Huang is a primary care pediatrician in West Philadelphia, an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and a graduate of the Academic Pediatric Association’s Educational Scholars program. Dr. Huang is the Director of Quality for CHOP Primary Care, Academic Advisor for Primary Care Faculty and Physician Partner for the CHOP Clinical Pathways Program. Dr. Huang has created and implemented interdisciplinary QI curricula for pediatric residents and for primary care staff throughout the CHOP Care Network. She works closely with CHOP leadership in primary care, quality and safety, and education to educate and empower trainees and frontline primary care staff to tackle improvement opportunities and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Dr. Huang received both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her medical degree from Harvard University. She then completed her pediatric internship and residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she stayed on as a chief resident and primary care preceptor before joining the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2006.
