
Janet Lioy, MD, FAAP directs the Neonatal Outreach Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a program which is instrumental in maintaining constant communication with all referring neonatologists. Dr. Lioy also is an associate professor of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital, and is heavily involved in training and supervising medical students, house staff and neonatal intensive care post-doctoral fellows. In addition, she serves as attending physician in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
She also is the medical director of the Neonatal Airway Program where she assists with consultations and transfers of critically ill neonates and infants with airway problems. She works closely with all the CHOP ENT physicians.
After receiving her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Jersey, Dr. Lioy completed her pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
She previously served as attending physician at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, NJ, for six years while maintaining clinical rotations at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
