    Lauri D. Mulvey, MD, is an attending physician in the Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

    Dr. Mulvey received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Following her internship at Tufts New England Medical Center, Dr. Mulvey completed an Ophthalmology residency program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She served as a senior registrar in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London prior to her fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology, in Philadelphia.

    Dr. Mulvey joined the Division of Ophthalmology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in July 2011. She began her career as a member of Eye Physicians and Surgeons practice in Freehold, NJ, in 1981, where she developed an exclusive pediatric ophthalmology practice for this large, multi-subspecialty ophthalmology group. She was a partner there until 1990, when she opened a solo pediatric ophthalmology practice in Princeton, NJ.

    Dr. Mulvey has special interest in the treatment of children with amblyopia, strabismus, atypical refractive errors, unusual medical conditions that can affect the eyes, as well as some of the more common medical conditions that can affect the eyes, such as pediatric diabetes, developmental delays and eye infections and allergies. She sees patients at CHOP’s Main Campus in Philadelphia and Specialty Care Center in Princeton, NJ.
