
Dr. Ogino is medical director of the CHOP Newborn Care Unit at Chester County Hospital, where he directs the medical care of newborns and infants in the NICU. He is actively involved in extracorporeal life support as the chairman of Logistics and Education for ELSO and director of ECMO simulation for the international organization. Dr. Ogino is also an associate professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Before coming to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Ogino was the chief of Neonatology at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and director of the Hanuloa ECMO Program at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.
Prior to that, he was director of the NICU at Massachusetts General Hospital and director of the Cardiac Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA.
