My Approach to Care
I have worked with children for more than 20 years as a teacher, researcher, and psychologist. My role in Urology is to help children understand their diagnoses, work with them on issues like adherence and adjustment, and provide support to children and families when their diagnosis and/or their treatment is more challenging. My goal is to help children and families use behavioral strategies to manage acute problems like daytime wetting or recurrent urinary tract infections, and to help children with more chronic problems use a variety of tools to cope over time.
