Judith A. Silver, PhD

Dr. Silver received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Rochester and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She completed an internship in school psychology at the School Association of Special Education in Du Page County, Illinois, and an internship in clinical child psychology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, in Chicago.

Dr. Silver is a pediatric psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the evaluation of high-risk infants and children with developmental disabilities and chronic medical conditions. Since 1993 she has focused specifically on improving health outcomes for young children involved with the child welfare system by developing interdisciplinary clinical and educational programs. Dr. Silver was awarded a Harris Mid-Career Fellowship by Zero to Three: The National Center of Infants, Toddlers, and Families as part of their Leadership Development Initiative, in recognition of her contributions in the early childhood field.
