  • Background

    Michele Zucker, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics in the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Division of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Dr. Zucker completed her residency in pediatrics at Rush Medical Center in Chicago in 2001. Following her residency training, she completed an adolescent medicine fellowship at West Virginia University in 2004. During her fellowship, she developed an interest in adolescent women's health issues and obesity. From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Zucker worked at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, providing medical care for children hospitalized on the psychiatric ward. It was there that she developed an interest in mental health and chronic illness. She has done research in the field of HIV prevention and acne. In 2007 Dr. Zucker came to work at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and in 2008 she became the medical director for CHOP's Adolescent Care Center.
