Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction - narrowing where the ureter is connected to the kidney
In ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, there is a blockage or narrowing where the ureter is connected to the kidney. This can cause urine to get backed up in the kidney, leading to hydronephrosis.
