The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia sent 11 distinguished faculty to deliver lectures at the annual pediatric conference of the Confederación Nacional de Pediatría de México — CoNaPeMe 2012. The event will be held in Mexico City from April 27 - 30.
CHOP began an alliance with CoNaPeMe in 2011 to allow for increased communication and collaboration between the Hospital’s medical experts and pediatric professionals in Mexico. CoNaPeMe represents more than 14,000 Mexican pediatricians with whom CHOP physicians will be able to work with more closely in the future.
Our list of speakers included CHOP’s CEO, Dr. Steven Altschuler, and 10 other physicians and researchers. These representatives spoke about the Hospital’s approach to specific pediatric diseases, conditions and treatments; the potential applications of our latest research; and global pediatric healthcare.
