Phoenixville Hospital's Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care unit has 24-hour a day in-house coverage by board certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners.
Specialists available for consult, if necessary include audiologists, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, neurologists and geneticists. The team also includes lactation consultants and social workers, with a special interest in the treatment of postpartum depression and pregnancy-related adjustment issues.
The Hospital recently expanded its Women's Health Pavilion, doubling the capacity of the NICU, nursery, labor and delivery, and postpartum areas.
