Flu Vaccine

Flu vaccine for the 2011-2012 season is now available in our office. Flu vaccination is recommended for all children 6 months and older. If your child has an egg allergy, you will need to speak with a provider to review the new guidelines for administering the flu vaccine to egg allergic patients.

Available vaccines

We will be offering the injectable flu vaccine and the nasal FluMist® for ages 2 and up. FluMist® is not recommended for patients who have asthma, who are on aspirin therapy, who are immunosuppressed or who are exposed to immunosuppressed people.
