Primary Care, Gibbsboro

About the Practice

Primary Care, Gibbsboro is a member of the CHOP Care Network. We are committed to providing the highest quality care for your children.

All of our physicians are all Board Certified Pediatricians and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Our physicians are active members of the medical staff at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

In addition, each of the practice's physicians are active members of the medical staff for our local community hospital, Virtua Voorhees. The pediatricians are available to provide care for infants in the newborn nursery at both of these institutions.

If you have questions concerning such care, or would like to arrange a prenatal appointment to discuss your child's care, please call the office and our staff would be happy to answer your questions or arrange a prenatal appointment with the clinician of your choice.

For children and adolescents requiring hospital admission, we maintain close contact with the pediatric staff at all of the local pediatric hospitals. Historically, most of our patients choose to use the facilities of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia or Virtua Voorhees.

Concussions evaluation and treatment

Our physicians offer evidence-based approach for diagnosing and managing concussions in children. Our approach emphasizes the importance of early cognitive rest and individualized step-by-step “return to learn” and “return to play” programs. As part of your child’s evaluation, we may perform balance and oculomotor (eye movement) exams, as well as computerized neurocognitive testing (i.e. ImPACT).

ImPACT is a baseline test that is taken before a concussion has occurred. If your child experiences a concussion, the ImPACT post-injury test results are compared to the baseline ImPACT test. The results of the ImPACT test can be used as part of a comprehensive evaluation to guide “return to learn” and “return to play” decisions.
