Please bring your insurance card to each visit.
If you have an HMO, MC plan or State plan such as Keystone Mercy, Aetna Better Health, United Healthcare Community or CHIP program, please make sure our office name or one of our physician’s name is on your card, if not, you would be responsible for services provided to your child that day. If your child is here for a well visit we may ask you to reschedule.
It's always a good idea to check with your healthcare administrator to determine your coverage for services. Pediatric & Adolescent Care, Newtown’s participation with your insurance carrier does not always mean services are paid in full. Any balance after insurance payment is the patient's responsibility.
We practice according to the guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Please refer to the the Well-Child and Developmental Guides for a list of services that are provided at each visit. This gives you the opportunity to consult with your insurance about covered services.
Many insurance plans require a patient co-payment which is due at the time of service.
