We believe that all children, adolescents, and adults should be immunized appropriately. We follow the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics immunization schedule. Our goal is to help prevent the spread of communicable childhood diseases that can cause disability and death.
Some parents have concerns about their child receiving too many vaccines at one time. The research shows no link between vaccines and developmental delays or autism. Delaying vaccines only increases the amount of time your child is at risk for vaccine-preventable diseases.
Vaccines are always tested individually for safety and effectiveness. Then they are tested again in combination with other vaccines that are administered at the same time. It may seem like a lot of vaccines given at one time; however, your child’s immune system is able to handle the recommended vaccines. The immune challenge from vaccines is miniscule compared to what a baby encounters in their daily environment.
