Children's Doctor

To refer to the Autism Integrated Care Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, call 215-590-7500. Note that families should expect to wait approximately 6 months for a new patient appointment for a child under 3 years old and 12 months for an older child. Learn more about the program at chop.edu/autism.

Families may want to consider participating in a research study as an alternate route for a developmental evaluation and clinical guidance. For a list of currently enrolling studies at CHOP’s Center for Autism Research (CAR), visit centerforautismresearch.org/enroll.

CAR has developed a comprehensive online resource that physicians can suggest to families seeking more information, ideas, or guidance on all aspects of autism and all ages. Find it at CARautismRoadmap.org. Physicians and families are invited to sign up for CAR’s e-newsletter, Autism Dispatch.
