Dr. Jean Belasco Featured in Philadelphia Tribune Article
Dr. Jean Belasco was featured in an article titled, "Experiment Gone Right," in the online Philadelphia Tribune July 21.
The story chronicles Dr. Belasco's successful experimental treatment of Jamilla Hanson, a 14-year-old with a malignant brain tumor who had a 20-30 percent chance of survival.
Hanson, now 22, shares her experience with fighting cancer, her care at CHOP, and her plans to help other children in similar circumstances.
