Fairmount Park, the largest city park in the country, offers horseback riding and bike trails, boating on the Schuylkill River, a nationally known zoo and an outdoor amphitheater used during warmer months for both classical and popular music concerts. University City

Children's Hospital resides in the student-oriented section of West Philadelphia known as University City. Children's Hospital is less than 15 minutes from Philadelphia's downtown restaurant and shopping districts, its large recreational parks and a revitalized waterfront area.
