Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Practicum Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The website describes in detail the practicum opportunities available to graduate students in psychology to assist them with developing knowledge and skills for their professional and educational growth.
Practicum rotations are semester-long or longer and may include the following supervised activities:
Practicum students may also have the opportunity to attend educational presentations, such as lectures, grand rounds and seminars, relevant to pediatric conditions and professional development of healthcare providers. By providing such opportunities, CHOP hopes to contribute to the students’ professional growth, education and competence.
