Practicum Application Process
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate level psychology program, and have an interest in working with children and families from culturally diverse backgrounds.
How to apply
One application packet is sufficient to apply for all available practicum positions.
Interested individuals should send the following forms:
- Cover letter detailing your area/s of interest
- Current Curriculum Vita (CV)
- Completed practicum application form
- Two letters of reference from an academic or work supervisor
- Unofficial transcript
All materials and correspondence should be sent via e-mail to psychologytraining@email.chop.edu.
Application review process
The specified program of interest will review your application materials. Should you be selected for consideration, someone from that program will contact you to further discuss the position.
Credentialing process
Applicants selected for practicum placements will be required to complete the following credentialing process:
- Medical clearance
- General paperwork
- Background check
- Institutional Affiliation Agreement between CHOP and the student's institution
- Malpractice insurance
Students are responsible for the cost associated with the credentialing process.
