The Division of Orthopedics is pleased to announce the addition of two new attending orthopedists to our team: Naomi J. Brown, MD, and Christian D. Turner, MD.

Dr. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She received her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts, and completed her residency in pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Brown has worked as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, Wilmington, Delaware, and recently completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Brown has served as co-investigator on several clinical studies on topics such as concussion care and MRSA abscesses.

Dr. Turner is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He earned his MD from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York, and completed a pediatric residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Turner recently completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In the past two years, he has served as team physician or assistant team physician for the University of Pennsylvania, West Chester University, two Philadelphia-area high schools, and at training camp for the Philadelphia Eagles football team.

Both Drs. Brown and Turner are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
