Adoption Family Program Updates

Please join us as we begin our Winter/Spring 2013 family event series. We have two primary goals as we work through these programs.

February 9: Working through Issues Related to Adoption

Please join us as Cheryl Nitz, MSW explores with parents the explicit adoption related challenges their children may face, and offers direct counseling strategies on how to discuss these topics with their children. Learn more and register today »

March 9: Lifebooks and Journaling

Please join us in this seminar centered around the art of building life books and journaling. You may have a lifebook for your child you want to add to, and your child can have an opportunity to build their own life book. Learn more and register today »

May 4: Living Life Together as a Transracial Family 

We are thrilled to have the commitment of Rhonda Roorda, author of several excellent books, including “In Their Own Voices: Transracial Adoptees Tell Their Stories." Ms. Roorda is a dynamic and nationally known speaker in this topic, herself an adoptee who grew up in a wonderfully transracial family.
