The After Hours Program

The After Hours Program (AHP) is a service designed to have specially trained nurses provide telephone triage, assessment, advice and access-to-care information for a parent concerning their ill child. The Program is a contracted service with primary care pediatrician practices to answer their after-hours telephone calls. The primary care provider or their designate remains on call in case the nurse or the patient’s caller needs to speak with them.
