Your Child's Visit

Preparing for your child's appointment

Once you have the date of your child's appointment, we suggest that you look over our Outpatient Family Handbook. It will tell you what to bring, where to park, what courtesy services are available to you at Children's Hospital, how billing will be handled after your child's visit, and how you can find support from other families who are familiar with Children's Hospital. It also contains helpful tips from families.

Getting to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

You can get door-to-door directions from your home to Children's Hospital by visiting our Maps and Directions page.

For parking information, call 215-590-7275. When you arrive at the Richard D. Wood Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center Garage, be prepared to show the guard proof of your child's appointment, and please ask us to stamp your parking ticket before you leave the Airway Center so that you may receive your parking discount.

Finding your way around the Wood Center

A quick way to get oriented is to visit the Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation Welcome Center on the second floor. The Center receptionist will answer any questions you have and point out materials that may be of interest to you. Our interactive kiosks provide information about locations and services throughout the Hospital that you can print out and take with you.
