We provide diagnosis, education and treatment for all allergic disorders
- Asthma
- Allergic problems involving the eyes, nose and throat
- Allergic skin disorders (e.g., eczema or atopic dermatitis, hives or urticaria and angioedema)
- Food allergy
- Severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis
- Allergies involving stinging insects, drugs, immunizations and latex
- Associated disorders of the immune system
Comprehensive allergy diagnostic and treatment facilities
Our diagnostic and testing services include:
- Allergen skin testing
- Spirometry
- Skin patch testing
- Oral challenges with foods or drugs
- Allergen immunotherapy
We can conduct comprehensive lung function testing, radiologic tests (e.g., X-rays) and any blood tests needed to diagnose allergic and immunologic disorders right here at the Hospital.
Education is an essential part of your child's treatment plan
While we often provide consultations to families and referring physicians, we also provide ongoing care and education for patients with asthma and allergic problems and their families.
Allergy outpatient services
We provide Allergy outpatient services at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Main Campus and at the CHOP Network's Pediatric & Adolescent Specialty Care Centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
