Regional Autism Clinic

Regional Autism Clinic

Welcome to the Regional Autism Clinic, part of the Autism Integrated Care services at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Our goal is to help you obtain an accurate diagnosis, understand your child’s medical, behavioral and developmental needs, and access the latest treatments and community interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Regional Autism Clinic at CHOP completes more than 300 new evaluations each year, in addition to providing follow-up care to existing patients. Our primary care network treats more than 3,000 patients with ASD.

Our services

If you or others involved in caring for your child suspect your child may have Autism Spectrum Disorder, our intake coordinators will help you identify the right evaluation service based on your specific concerns, your child’s age and your child’s medical history. Our team of experts includes developmental and behavioral pediatricians, psychiatrists and psychologists, all of whom specialize in ASD and are skilled in distinguishing ASD from other conditions.

Our team works closely with other specialties at CHOP to provide the best care possible for your child, including developmental pediatrics, neurology, genetics, psychiatry, psychology, speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, nursing and social work. We also have specialty clinics in feeding, sleep, gastroenterology, allergy, immunology, nutrition, physical therapy and neonatal follow-up to help families address issues that often co-occur in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We use state-of-the-art, evidence-based, clinical assessment measures to provide the best possible services for your family.
