To make a new patient appointment, please submit the Request an Appointment form. This is the most efficient way to set up an appointment for your child. The first page asks for demographic and contact information. The second page gathers information about your child's needs. Please select "Specialist" at the top of the page and then select either ADHD, Psychiatry, or Psychology from the drop-down list. Please describe your child's symptoms, any past or current behavioral health treatment, and be sure to tell us the type of service (evaluation, therapy, and/or medication management) you are requesting.
The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Science has a central intake office for all programs (including the Center for Management of ADHD) and all locations. You should expect an email response from our department within a few business days. Due to the high volume of requests, there is often a wait of several months before your child's initial visit is scheduled. We know this can be a difficult time for you and your child, and we thank you for your patience.
If your child is in immediate risk of harming her/himself or others, please call 911 or go to your nearest crisis center or emergency room.
For all other types of requests including follow-up appointments, prescription refills, medical records, or billing inquiries, please call 215-590-7555 and select the appropriate prompt.
