Our department participates with many insurance plans. When the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Science participates with a plan, a contractual agreement is in place between us and the insurance company, and our providers are considered to be "in-network."
It is important that you know who manages your mental health benefits when seeking mental or behavioral health services for your child. Often, medical insurance plans contract with other companies to manage the mental health benefits. Before coming to the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Science for mental or behavioral health services, contact your medical insurance company to make sure that our department is considered a participating, “in-network” provider for mental or behavioral health services.
