Psychology
The Department of Psychology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient psychological services for infants, children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties. The department is committed to providing clinical care that is consistent with best practices in psychology.
Members of our multidisciplinary team treat patients with acute and chronic pediatric illnesses, which include:
- Neurodevelopmental disorders
- Autistic spectrum disorders
- Behavioral and school difficulties
- Enuresis and encopresis
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
- Feeding disorders

We consult with medical teams throughout the Hospital about the psychological well-being of patients and families and treatment adherence. We also consult with school counselors when needed.
