Our staff members work together to diagnose your child's condition and develop a treatment plan. When surgery or hospitalization is required, the Hospital has two inpatient units -- the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and Cardiac Care Unity (CCU) -- exclusively for critical and intermediate care of pediatric cardiology patients.

Our medical staff includes more than 50 pediatric cardiologists, one of the largest teams in this specialty in the world. We also partner with the University of Pennsylvania to treat adults with congenital heart conditions through the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center. Our staff includes internationally recognized researchers in basic research (in the laboratory) and clinical research (with patients) of pediatric heart conditions.
