Regional Autism Center

The Regional Autism Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia provides comprehensive, coordinated family-centered care for children under the age of 5. They also provide valuable resources for families with questions about autism spectrum disorders.

Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)

CHADD is a non-profit, membership organization that provides support and services to individuals with ADHD. CHADD chapters are local groups comprised of volunteers who provide a variety of activities for individuals and families affected by ADHD. Activities may include support groups, community resource information, monthly meetings on topics of interest, outreach programs, and the opportunity to network with other adults, parents, and professionals interested in the many challenges of ADHD .

National Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA)

ADDA's mission is to help people with ADHD lead happier, more successful lives through education, research and public advocacy. ADDA focuses especially on the needs of adults and young adults with ADHD.

Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)

LDA provides support to people with learning disabilities, their parents, teachers and other professionals. At the national, state and local levels, LDA provides cutting edge information on learning disabilities, practical solutions, and a comprehensive network of resources.

National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY)

NICHCY is a central source for information on children with disabilities, including information on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), No Child Left Behind, and research-based information on effective educational practices.

National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)

NCLD provides information, resources, and referral sources for children and adults with learning disabilities. They also develop educational programs, seminars, and workshops and are active in advocating for more effective policies and legislation to help individuals with learning disabilities.

Education Law Center

The Education Law Centers of Pennsylvania and New Jersey advocate for children with learning disabilities to ensure that all children have access to a quality public education.

Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA)

A small proportion of people with ADHD have a neurological disorder called Tourette syndrome. The TSA is a good source of information for families with questions about this condition.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)

NIMH provides a very thorough description of our current knowledge of ADHD. This is an excellent resource for providers with questions concerning a wide range of issues related to ADHD, including diagnosis, possible causes, and treatments.
