About Your Visit

Preparing for your child's appointment

Before you come to Children's Hospital for your child's appointment, please have copies of all previous records and previous biopsies sent to us, so our pathology department can review the slides. Mail records to:

Parking

For parking information, call 215-590-7275. When you arrive at the Richard D. Wood Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center Garage, be prepared to show the guard proof of your child's appointment, and please ask us to stamp your parking ticket before you leave so that you may receive your parking discount.

Finding your way around the Wood Center

A quick way to get oriented is to visit the Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation Welcome Center on the second floor. The Center receptionist will answer any questions you have and point out materials that may be of interest to you. Our interactive kiosks provide information about locations and services throughout the Hospital that you can print out and take with you.

Your child's Eosinophilic Disorders Center appointment

Please come to the fifth floor of the Wood Center, to the Division of Allergy and Immunology, at least 15 minutes before your child's appointment so that our staff can check you in.

At the Center for Pediatric Eosinophilic Disorders, you will meet the staff — allergists/immunologists, gastroenterologists and nutritionists — who will evaluate your child.

Your child's visit and future visits may include:

A complete history and physical exam
Review of previous work-up
Future appointment scheduling, as needed for Allergy Skin testing and patch testing, upper GI, additional endoscopies
