Galaxy 51

Our programming allows children and staff to WATCH, LISTEN, and PLAY from the hospital bedside or LIVE in The Voice multimedia studio located in the Hospital’s Colket Atrium. Patients are also encouraged to work with the Galaxy 51 team to create and produce their very own projects from video diaries to music videos.

Monday-Friday

8 a.m.-noon — Miles & Molly in the Morning

A charming green puppet named Miles shares his time as a CHOP patient with his twin, Molly, as they host an entertaining and educational preschool morning show filled with classic kid favorites and new Hospital adventures.

Noon-2 p.m. — Relaxation

A time to slow things down with a mix of beautiful scenery, soothing music, guided meditation and patient-friendly yoga.

2-3 p.m. — Galaxy Game On!

Wednesday: Wheel of Wonder
Thursday: Say What?!
Friday: Guess or Dress
Everyday: Call in and win BIG!

Mon/Fri, 4-5 p.m., Tues/Thur, 3-7 p.m. — The Voice Is On!

Be a DJ on CHOP’s in-house radio/TV show as we rock out to the music, take song requests on the call-in line, play trivia, learn about places around the world and share much more. Plus encore presentations!

Monday

3-4 p.m. —  Paper Trails

Authors and illustrators guide you down the road of storytelling with inspiration and imagination to help you develop your own creative expressions.

Wednesday

3-5 p.m. — Afternoon Dance Party on The Voice!

Wind down the week and ramp up the weekend with your favorite TUNES and cool MOVES!

Friday

3-4 p.m. — CSPN / Sports 51

Come to The Voice studio to talk ALL THINGS SPORTS from around the leagues with special guest visitors.

Constellations

Each month we'll showcase some of the stars of the “CHOP universe”: special people, places and happenings.

Special presentations

Patients and families can check with Child Life staff for Hospital-wide performances and celebrity visits. Children restricted to their rooms can still enjoy and participate in these events by tuning to Galaxy 51 on Hospital channel 51.

*All programming on Galaxy 51 is made available via the Hospital’s closed circuit television channel 51.
