IMPORTANT: All correspondence and application related documents should be addressed to ppci.information@gmail.com.
All applicants to the Professional Preparation in Cochlear Implants (PPCI) Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia must complete an application. After downloading the application, please carefully follow the instructions on page one of the application. All application materials must be received prior to the application deadline for the session of the program you wish to attend. You will be notified by e-mail when all of your materials have been received and your application is considered complete.
Admission to PPCI is not rolling. The applications of all candidates applying for a specific session of the training are evaluated simultaneously after the application deadline for that session has passed. There is an Admissions Committee made up of individuals across training sites who evaluates the applications and selects a group of eight applicants to attend each session of the program. Admission to the program is competitive. Applicants will be notified of the admissions committee’s decision on their application no more than one month after the application deadline.
If you have questions about the application procedure or about admission to the Professional Preparation in Cochlear Implants Program, please contact Kristine Jackson (by email, or telephone 267-426-5084).
